Healthcare Journey in Dubai
Arriving in Dubai in 2004, Rajeev began his career from humble beginnings. Starting as a receptionist, his exceptional work ethic propelled him through various roles in healthcare:
- Cedars Jebel Ali International Hospital (2004-2010): Gained comprehensive exposure to healthcare operations, eventually supervising two satellite clinics
- Occupational Health International (2011-2013 & 2015-2021): Developed specialized knowledge in occupational medicine services, rising from Corporate Sales Executive to Clinic Manager
Throughout his progression, Rajeev developed a deep understanding of client needs, enabling him to design effective healthcare processes that genuinely benefit those he serves.
Building Expertise in Occupational Healthcare
Despite not having a medical background, Rajeev’s immersion in healthcare operations fostered a profound appreciation for preventive healthcare’s role in protecting workforce wellbeing. Guided by mentors specializing in Occupational Medicine, he became a respected professional in Dubai’s occupational healthcare sector.
His dedication to maintaining the highest standards led him to become a certified Internal Auditor for:
- ISO 9001 (Quality Management Systems)
- ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems)
This expertise has been instrumental in implementing best practices at Medi Sense Clinic, ensuring exceptional patient safety and service quality throughout Dubai.
Founding Medi Sense Clinic
In 2021, Rajeev co-founded Medi Sense Clinic alongside Dr. Laura Tepelus, bringing to life a shared vision dating back to 2007. The clinic represents more than a business venture—it embodies a purpose-driven initiative focused on preventive medicine rather than merely curative treatment.
What makes Medi Sense truly special is its founding story: Rajeev and Dr. Laura established the clinic in partnership with one of their earliest employers—the very person who provided them their first professional opportunities in Dubai.
