Mary John joined Medi Sense Clinic in March 2026 as a Clinical Psychologist, bringing over 35 years of extensive experience in supporting individuals, families, and organizations in managing a wide range of mental health concerns. She is licensed by the DHA and has worked across clinical, aviation, corporate, and academic settings, including serving as Head of Psychology at Emirates Airlines and flydubai.
Her approach is grounded in evidence-based care combined with strong cultural sensitivity, enabling her to address real-life challenges in a practical and relatable manner.
Mary John holds an M.Phil in Clinical Psychology and a Master’s degree in Abnormal Psychology. She has also completed two years of doctoral research in Obsessive Compulsive Disorders at NIMHANS, one of India’s leading mental health institutes. Over the years, she has built a career focused on delivering structured, effective, and personalized psychological care.
Her areas of expertise include Individual Therapy, Family and Couples Therapy, Behaviour Therapy, Neurofeedback, Psychometric Assessments, and Workplace Mental Health. She has been actively involved in developing wellbeing initiatives that integrate psychological science with organizational strategy, particularly within high-performance environments such as aviation.
Mary John works with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and working professionals. She supports clients dealing with anxiety, stress-related concerns, relationship conflicts, workplace challenges, and personality-related difficulties. She also has specialized experience in aviation-related mental health, where psychological resilience and performance are critical.
She is trained in multiple therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Supportive Psychotherapy, Psychoanalysis, Grief Counselling, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Behavioural Therapy, and Neurofeedback.
In addition to her clinical work, she is passionate about promoting mental health awareness and regularly conducts workshops, support groups, and educational initiatives aimed at reducing stigma and encouraging early intervention.
